For the last few months, I have been checking out the Traffic Travis SEO tool. Researching and investigating tools like this is part of our work at GoAugust because we want to make sure we're on top of the state-of-the-art when it comes to web design, development and internet marketing.

Google provides some free tools to help with SEO (search engine optimization). All that's required is that you spend a few hours each week researching and analyzing the rich data that Google provides.

WebAppStorm posted on twittter that a user of the Envato Network has sold over 10,000 copies of his applications on CodeCanyon.

Congrats on that! It's awesome to see developers make money doing what they love to do. At the same time however, I find I am conflicted. On the one hand, making money is great, on the other hand I really like free/open source software. Making money isn't the issue here, it's more specific than that. The issue is that they seem to be making money by using proprietary licenses.
